How long have you been Unbound?
Since October 2013
What is your top Unbound experience?
Traveling! Since being unbound I’ve travelled to Costa Rica, Vancouver, Amsterdam, Belgium and to Sochi, Russia for the 2014 Olympic Spirit Project.
What 3 tips can you offer to someone who wants to become a digital nomad/location independent?
- It takes time to build up your income, don’t quit your job until you are able to support yourself with your freelance work.
- Have an emergency fund just in case things don’t go as expected.
- Not everyone will understand or support what you’re trying to accomplish. Don’t let that discourage you from living your dream! Work hard and you’ll get there!
What are your future Unbound plans?
I’ll stay on Vancouver Island at least for the summer. After that, I’m researching warmer climates for the winter months. Probably Central/South America.
